Garda Vetting
All candidates undergo Garda Vetting through An Garda Síochána. Relocating international staff provide police clearances from all countries of previous residency.
Professional Registration
NMBI status is checked for nurses, CORU register credentials for social carers, and IMC registration for doctors before any shift offer.
Qualification Verification
QQI Level 5 and 6 certifications are authenticated directly with QQI or issuing bodies. Nurse diplomas/degrees audited against registration data.
Reference Checks
A minimum of two clinical, professional references from recent managers are obtained, verified via telephone, and logged in our CRM.
Right to Work Vetting
Passports, Stamp 1G/4 status, and AWS work permits are audited to comply with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment guidelines.
Clinical Training & Health
Mandatory modules (CPR/BLS, Manual Handling, Adult Safeguarding) must be active. Occupational health clearances are confirmed before entry.
Quality Assurance Beyond Placement
Vetting does not end on day one. We maintain post-placement audits.
Client Feedback Loops
We contact the Director of Nursing or Unit Manager after the first shift of a new placement to audit clinical performance.
Active Renewal Tracker
Our system alerts both candidate and consultant 60 days before NMBI or training certificates expire.
Performance Review
If a facility reports clinical or behavioural gaps, we suspend shift offers, review compliance files, and provide refresher training.
Strict Irish Regulatory Alignment
We align our processes with the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA), the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), CORU, and An Garda Síochána vetting regulations. All audits are completed in accordance with the HSE Employer Quality Specifications.
